Harold Wallace Welch Jr. of Lyles, Tennessee, passed away at his residence on Saturday, July 18, 2020; he was 65 years old.
A loving daddy, granddaddy, and great friend to all that knew him. Harold drove a truck for many years for DET Distributing, BFI, and Stericycle, and was currently employed at Civil Constructors for the last 11 years.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Harold "Slim" and Mary Frances Welch; and sister Juanita Lindsey.
Survivors include his children, Harold Welch III, Ryan Welch (Jennifer), Samantha Fitzgerald (Jason), and Megan Welch; grandchildren, Brandie Martin and Ivee Himes; great-grandchild Juliana; siblings, Threesa Walton, Glenda Roberts, Pam Smith (Larry), Buddy Welch (Cheryl), and Paula Welch; brother-in-law, Terry Lindsey; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, July 24, 11am ~ 4:30pm, and again Saturday 12 ~ 2pm, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 2:00pm; all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN 37221. Burial will follow at the Fernvale Church of Christ.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Welch, Brian Steakley, Allen Welch, Ryan Welch, Tray Welch, and Shannon Buttrey. Aaron Mangrum will officiate the services.
