Karen Elaine Gallagher of Franklin, Tennessee died Friday, September 4, 2015 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee surrounded by her family; she was 63 years old.

Mrs. Gallagher, a retired Librarian from Christ Presbyterian Academy, is survived by her husband of 43 years, Mr. Charles Robert Gallagher; daughter Christina Claxton (Daniel); grandchildren Jack, Cate, and Sarah Grace Claxton; and brother Ray "Chip" Throckmorton III.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2015, 3:30 p.m. at Christ Presbyterian Church, in the main sanctuary.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Christ Presbyterian Academy Library, 2323 Old Hickory Blvd, Nashville, TN 37215.
