On October 25, 2017, "put her shoes on and is walking all over heaven."

She was a longtime resident of the Pasquo community. She was one of five children born to Charles Benjamin Smith and Elsie Mae Holmes. She is preceded in death by her son, Charles Randall Mungovan, Sr. (Judi); grandson, Richard Mungovan; siblings, Laura Mae Maddux (Noel), Roy Smith (Baby), Walter Samuel Smith and William H. Smith.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Randy Mungovan (Rene), Rhonda West (Randy) and Kathy Mungovan; great-grandchildren, Andrew Mungovan, Alan Mungovan, Wil Mungovan (Ilze), Chaz Mungovan, Hanna Tipton (Tyler) and Elliot West; nephew, James Roy Smith (Elaine); niece, Shandry Cartwright.

Our hearts are broken, but filled with love and joy for those who lovingly cared for her: Mary Whitaker, Judy Greer, Jessica Greer, Teresa Graham, Tesera Graham, Deanna Graham, Nancy Northcutt, Alisha Paul, Bonni Millar, Jennifer Greer, Jill Luther, Mark Carneal, Tammy Hakim, Daniel Wilson and many others.

A special thanks to Tommy Hirsbrunner and Don Canady.

She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.

She was a dedicated and faithful servant to the State of Tennessee for 65 years.

Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, 2017 and 10-11:30 a.m. on Monday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Terry Cordell officiating. Interment will follow at Smith Family Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Wil Mungovan, Chaz Mungovan, Elliot West, Tyler Tipton, Matthew McCann, Andrew Mungovan & Alan Mungovan. Honorary Pallbearers will be The Honorable Winfield Dunn, Bob Clement, Ann Ellington Wagner, Malinda Wagner, Jimmy Cowden, Tommy Hirsbrunner & Don Canady.
