Preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Minnie Forehand, brothers, Leroy Forehand and Arville Forehand; great-grandsons, Austin Reed Hutson and Abel Killian.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Les Daugherty; children, Bruce Daugherty (Lynette), Loretta Daugherty Love, Karon Daugherty Foster (Tim) and Ellen Daugherty Baxter; grandchildren, Mary Kate Daugherty Smith (Ian), Brandon Daugherty, Melissa Love Ashlin (Jeremy), Jason Love, Matthew Love (Madison), Jennifer Killian Hutson (Cody), Amy Killian Stewart (Casey), Kathryn Killian Walker, Derek Baxter (Kaitlyn), Megan Baxter; great-grandchildren, Natalie Ashlin, Allison Ashlin, Jonas Ashlin, Sawyer Ashlin, Shiloh Love, Jacob Hutson, Tanner Hutson, Tucker Hutson, Kaelee Reed Hutson, Libby Mae Stewart and Chase Foster.

She was a military spouse for 20 years during the Korean War and the Vietnam War era. A lifetime member of the church of Christ and a member at La Vergne Church of Christ for over 50 years. As stated by her husband, "She was a wonderful and beautiful person."

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. on Monday, August 12, 2019 and Tuesday, 12-2 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
