Alice Baker Fox, of Nashville, died on September 29. She was born in 1927 in Hickman County, TN, to Sammie and Florence Baker. At the age of 19, she married Paul Fox, a WWII Navy veteran.

Alice was a devoted member of the church, first Charlotte Avenue Church of Christ, and then Bellevue Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Paul; her parents; and her siblings, Dean Baker, Bea Maples, Kathleen Lee, Annette Jones, and Sammie Baker. She is survived by her children, Paulette Fox, Ralph (Betty Kay) Fox, Carol (Larry) Felts, and Don (Monica) Fox; her grandchildren: Katie (Dale) Best, Andrea (Patrick) Houseman, Braxton (Jenny) Felts, Elizabeth (Sam Conte) Hazel, Peter (Nicole) Hazel, Daniel (Jessica) Fox, Laura (Adam) Gregory, Dana (Chad) Huggins, Mary Emily (Steven) Beard, and Kirsten Fox; ten great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Mary Walker Holladay, Helen (Harold) Morrow, and Barbara (Billy) Patterson.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 1, from 4 to 7 p.m. and Wednesday, October 2, from 9 to 10 a.m. The funeral follows at 10 a.m., Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens on Hwy 100.
