Alice E. (Russell) Gadler entered into eternal life on December 24, 2014.

Alice was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and also had a very successful career in medical sales and most recently worked as a medical technologist.

Alice was very active in the St. Vincent DePaul Society, The Nashville Republican Women's Group and in her church.

She was preceded in death by her parents John M. and Virginia M. Russell and nephews John R. Lage of Louisville KY and Steven J. Russell of Peachtree City, Ga.

She is survived by her husband, Bjorn Gadler, stepchildren Nina Ainestrom (Mattias) and Fredrick Gadler (Camilla) and their children. Brother John M. Russell (Lynne) and sister, Nancy Lage (Kenneth), nephews Christopher Russell (Francie), Brian Lage, and several great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 pm January 2, 2015 at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100 Nashville Tn. 37221 and from 10:00 to 11:00 am January 3 preceding a mass of celebration at her church St. Matthew.
