RAINEY, Alice Inez Fain-age 82 went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2012. She was a loving wife, mom, granny, nan and great-granny who will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Skelton; father, Leonard Fain; brothers, Carl Fain, Paul Fain and Howard Fain; sisters, Hazel Shipp, Bernice Ritter, and Iva Stephenson. She is survived by her most devoted husband of 62 years, Jim Rainey; sons, Bruce Rainey Anita, Pat Rainey Paula; daughter, Catherine Rector; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A Life Celebration Service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Hendersonville First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home and on Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the UMW of Hendersonville First United Methodist Church or the Alzheimers Association through Abe's Garden.
