Alice Elizabeth Steele, age 91 of Nashville, TN went home to be with the Lord on August 7, 2015.

Alice was born in Franklin, KY on August 25, 1923.

She attended East High in Nashville, TN she also attended Trevecca University and worked as a loan Processor in the Mortgage industry for 36 years.

She was preceded in death by loving husband Robert H. Steele; parents, William Edward Smith & Nema Patterson; daughter, Janice (Gary) Crowe, son-in-law, James Clark; grandchildren, Elizabeth Diane Clark, Robert Paul Clark & Jason Crowe.

Survivors include her daughters, Gail (James) Sledge & Connie Clark; 1 sister, Nancy Berlin of Denver CO., grandchildren, Pam (Stacey) Rucker, Todd Clark & Ryan Sledge & 8 great grandchildren .

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 9, 2015 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of Alice's life will be conducted on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 12:00 pm with pastor Bob Pearce of Westmeade Fellowship Church. There will be an hour visitation prior to service.

The family would like to thank the compassionate and caring staff of Brookdale at Bellevue Place.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Avalon Hospice in loving memory of Alice Elizabeth Steele.
