Alma Ruth Hudson, Age 91, Brentwood, TN. Went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2015.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Hudson; parents, Burton and Virgie Carter; daughter, Gail Blackburn; grandson, Barry Blackburn; great-grandson, Christopher Blackburn.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Ron) Osburne, Linda (Jim) Robinson, Robin Hudson (Phillip); son, Hank (Pam) Hudson; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous loving friends and family.
The family would like to thank friends and staff at Morning Pointe Assisted Living, Brentwood for their loving care and compassion, and thanks to the doctors and nurses at Vanderbilt Hospital Pallative Care Unit.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and her nephew.
A visitation will be on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
