Alma Jean Rucker - Age 84, of Nashville, passed away September 2, 2017.
Ms. Rucker was a caring, loving, giving, and compassionate woman. She was known for her well-kept clutter free home and organizational skills. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper in the education system. She enjoyed painting, cooking, gardening (flowers & vegetables), canning, traveling, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jewel Ridley McBride & Barney McBride; sister, Sue Fitzhugh; brother, Kenneth McBride. Survived by her loving sons, Stacey L. Rucker (Pam) & Donald K. Rucker (Tina); adoring grandchildren, Jake Rucker, Carly Rucker, & Jordan Rucker; sister, Maridith Wood (J.E.); brother, Bobby McBride (Nancy); numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
