Alma Faye Campbell

Alma Faye Campbell, age 81, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 30, 2023.

Born in Camden, Tennessee to parents Maggie and Walter Crafton, Alma was the youngest girl of 10 children.  She loved her friends and family in Camden, and often shared stories of her youth and about growing up near the Tennessee River.

Alma loved music, and she loved to sing.  She had a particular fondness for country western music and gospel hymns. She was a homemaker most of her adult life, and one could always count on hearing her singing while doing her daily chores. Alma also loved reading, word search puzzles, flowers, birdwatching, listening to sermons, and visiting with her grandchildren.

Alma is survived by her husband of 62 years, James; daughter Michelle (Larry); three grandchildren- Megan (Davis), Alex, and Jaime; and a great-grandchild on the way.

Visitation will be 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on February 11, 2023, at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens and Funeral Home, 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN 37221. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm with interment immediately following.
