Amya Wynn, age 6 of Nashville, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 20, 2014
Our beautiful princess, Amya was born on July 1st, 2007 at Vanderbilt Hospital. She was a proud student of Harpeth Valley Elementary School.
If anyone ever was in the presence of Mya quickly became attracted to her loving spirit. She was very loving, adorable, beautiful and energetic. She loved her family and friends very much and gave the greatest hugs. She brought so much joy and delight to anyone who came into contact with her. She loved swimming and playing outside, riding her bicycle, jumping on the trampoline, playing basketball, soccer, cheering (when she felt like it) and teasing her brother and friends.
She leaves behind her loving and devoted parents, Brooke Shearon and Kenneth Wynn; brother, Derrick Musgrove; grandmothers, Paula Shearon and Theresa Ann Wynn; great-grand-mother; Ruth Shearon; aunts, Heather Trene' Bridges, Shelia Wynn, Tarita Wynn Morgan, and Florida Wynn; uncles, Michael Wynn, and Marcus Wynn.
Mya is also survived by a large extended family including a host of other aunts, uncles, in laws, and many loving friends. She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by grandfathers, (Maternal) Edward Shearon and (Paternal) Quintella Grayson.
The family will receive friends on Saturday May 24, 2014 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a home going celebration of life service will be conducted at 2:00 pm. The joyful celebration will be led by Pastor Chris Nichols of Cross Pointe Church.
Burial will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Amya Wynn Memorial Fund at First Tennessee Bank or through the Bellevue Chamber; Amya Wynn Memorial Fund at Regions Bank.
The family has requested that no dark color clothing be worn.
"Rest now our little princess for we already miss you more then you will ever know."
