Andrew L. Mayo passed away on July 4,2021. He was born October 20,1937 in Roanoke VA.
Andrew served the US Air Force, 40 years on the Nashville Fire Department. Andy was a master wood worker and an avid golfer.
Andrew is proceeded in death by parents Casey and Dena Mayo, his wife of 51-year Norma Jean Mayo, brothers William Mayo, Carl Mayo, sister Rosemary Mayo.
He is survived by his daughters Terry Lynn Mayo, Jamie (Terry Mack) Burnett and he is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on July 7 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home from 6-8 Pm and 11-12 on July 8 with a service to follow. The burial will be held at 2pm at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on McCrory Lane.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center.
