Mrs. Anita Seymore Hamblen, age 100, passed away Monday July 2, 2018. She was born on September 11, 1917, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late George Thomas and Frances Elizabeth Schnupp Seymore. Mrs. Hamblen was preceded in death by her husband James C. Hamblen. Surviving are her children; Jim (Lee) Hamblen, and Betty (Turner) Matthews. 6 grandchildren; Andrew (Heather) Matthews, Scott (Meredith) Matthews, Chris (Brooke) Matthews, Clay (Meredith) Hamblen, Elizabeth Hamblen, and Will (Stephanie) Hamblen and 8 great grandchildren also survive. A funeral Mass will be Saturday, July 7, 2018, 11 AM at St. Henry Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 AM until the hour of the service at St. Henry Catholic Church.
