Anita was born in 1937 and is a native Nashvillian. She was an artist, homemaker, mother of 5, avid fan of all her children’s sporting activities, cub scout leader, and friend. She was an avid reader of the Bible and many Christian books. She hosted Bible Studies in her home for many years. She remained friends with Camille Miketinac, her lifelong friend from grammar school and Angela Lane, a special friend in Texas. She was a lifelong member of The Lord’s Chapel in Brentwood. She attended a Home Church in her community. She shared her walk with the Lord, with everyone, and loved her Jesus and family.
Preceded in death by mother, Anita Lewis Frazer and father, Henry Frizzell Ambrose.
Survived by sister, Mary Patton; children: Anita Marshall (Claude), Beverly Hendricks (Rob), Sam Richards (Leigh Ann), Harry Richards (Judy), Petey Richards (Leigh); grandchildren: Vanessa Dixon (Mike), Stacy Boyett (Brooks), Elizabeth Robinson (Travis), Katie Hendricks, Kelly Gregory (Bryant), Jake Richards, Jessy Richards, Jilli Richards, John Richards, Jennifer Richards, Gray Richards, Callie Richards; great-grandchildren: Justin Dixon, Trevor Dixon, Isabella Hendricks, Amelia Gregory, Elise Gregory, Preston Hendricks, Annabelle Boyett, Charlotte Robinson, Cora Robinson, Camille Robinson, great-great grandchildren: Colton Dixon, Anna Dixon.
Everyone is invited to share memories during visitation from 11:00 to 12:00 on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home and Memory Gardens. Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12:00 Noon on October 14, 2021.
