Ann Sappenfield will be remembered as a loving wife of 58 years, mother, Mimi, soon to be great grandma, daughter, sister, friend, and servant of God. Ann was born July 14th 1938 in Hastings, Michigan. She passed away on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 11th 2021 at Barton House in Nashville Tennessee surrounded by family and a loving staff. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rex & Irene Perry, her sister Arlene Perry and her grandson, David Golczynski. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Richard “Dick” Sappenfield, her 6 children, John Sappenfield, Kay (John) Dodd, Father Mark Sappenfield, Paul Sappenfield, Jill (Jon) Golczynski & Joanie (Steve) Shaffer, 14 grandchildren, her sister, Agnes M. Campbell and brother, Thomas R. Perry, as well as numerous extended family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tennessee Right to Life and the Diocese Of Nashville Hand in Hand Options program. Public visitation will be held on Thursday April 15th from 4pm-7pm at St. Matthew Catholic Church (535 Sneed Road West, Franklin Tennessee). For family, close friends and clergy, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday April 16th at St. Matthew Catholic Church concelebrated by her son, Father Mark Sappenfield & grandson, Father David Dodd. Masks will be required at visitation & funeral.
