Anna Mai Hudgins Thompson Morgan, of Fairview, age 94, passed away on December 20th at The Gardens of Providence in Mt, Juliet, Tn. Anna Mai was born on October 24, 1929. She was predeceased by her husbands Gerald Thompson and Boot Morgan, parents, Lula and Marvin Hudgins, brothers Lester and Bobby Hudgins, sisters, Patsy Keith, Mildred Gillette, and Sue Creech. She is survived by daughter, Marsha (Bill) LaFollette, and sons, Terry (Carrie) and Steve (Tammy) Thompson and brother Ronnie Hudgins and sister, Sheila Turner. Grandchildren Chad Harrison, Will LaFollette, Chase Thompson, Lee and Brandon Thompson, Holly Settle, Bobbie Crocker, Chris Thompson, Stephanie Anderson, Michelle Murphy, and Hailey Lockhart. Also survived by many great-grand children and one great-great grandchild.
Anna Mai retired from Genesco after 45+ years of working there. She loved to dance and travel. She was a member of Liberty Lincoln Church of Christ. She loved angels and she has now become one. She thought her purpose in life was working and taking care of her family. We will miss her smiles, laughter, and most of all, the love she had for us.
We would like to thank Alive Hospice and all the nurses, aides, and employees at Providence Place and the Gardens for their support, care, and love that they showered upon mom.
A visitation will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, from 11:30am until the hour of service. Celebration of life service will begin in the chapel at 1:30pm with burial to follow.
