She enjoyed a career with Bell South/AT&T for 42 years. Her passion after retirement was spending time with family, especially attending school and athletic events for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Sadie (Bailey) Fulghum, her husband of 37 years, Harold (Pappy) Hutcherson, and her sister Evelyn Fulghum Mealor.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Lucia) Hutcherson, granddaughters Carrie Hearn and Cassie (Ben) Hardy, great grandchildren Lexi and Peyton Hearn and Caleigh Hardy, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation with family will be at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home on Thursday, March 28th from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and again on Friday, March 29th from 1:00-2:00pm with graveside service following at 2:30pm. Burial will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN 37221. Bro. Clifford Dobbs will be officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
