Anna Grace Rushing

Anna Grace Rushing was born in Nashville, TN on March 23, 1999. She grew up in Nashville and passed away at the age of 20 on November 8th, 2019.

Anna Grace had an amazing voice and loved to sing so much. She actually sang before she spoke words as a baby. She had a passion for writing music, poems, short stories and journaling. She enjoyed creating any kind of art. She learned to play guitar and the clarinet.

Anna Grace loved being outdoors, whether it be hiking, picking flowers, camping or fishing. She loved all living things.

Some of her most cherished memories were of going to the beach with her family and playing with her cousins. She loved any and all holidays and adored that time with her family.

She attended Father Ryan High School in Nashville, TN and truly enjoyed being a part of the Father Ryan Marching and Competition Band her freshman and sophomore year. She was very appreciative of the love and support her Father Ryan family extended to her. She graduated from Wilson Central High School in May, 2017. She was currently attending Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, TN. She had made many new friends at Vol State whom she cherished. She was planning on transferring to Middle Tennessee State University for the spring semester. She had planned on majoring in Psychology and helping people with eating disorders and/or mental illness. She also dreamed of living near the beach someday.
Anna Grace was loving, affectionate, honest, committed to her faith, extremely loyal and was known for her quirky sense of humor. She will forever be missed by her family and friends.

She leaves behind her mother, Allison Hagan Green, her father Bryndon Marlin Rushing, her stepfather, Wesley William Green and her adoring little brother, William Nicholas Green. She also leaves behind her grandparents, James and Beth Hagan and David Rushing. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles and many cousins whom she loved so much.
