Anthony John Zimmermann- Age 82, August 16, 2014. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Jane Zimmermann; sons, Anthony G. Zimmermann, M.D. (Amy) of Mason, OH and George M. Zimmermann (Jacque) of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter, Catherine Ann Simpson (Joseph T.) of Burns, TN; grandsons, Anthony, Andrew, Daniel, Alex and Nicholas; sister, Dorothy McCann (Robert) of Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from Northeast Catholic High School in Philadelphia, PA and attended LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA. He retired from Graybar Electric after 43 years. He was a 3rd degree Knight of Columbus. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Served 16 years as a Hospital Ministry Volunteer with St. Ann's Church at Centennial Hospital. He enjoyed golf, reading, baseball and was a big Titans and Notre Dame fan. Visitation will be 5-8 pm on Friday, August 22 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 5101 Charlotte Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Father Ryan High School or St. Ann Church. Funeral Mass will be at 10 am on Saturday, August 23, at St. Ann Catholic Church. Interment will follow at HARPETH HILLS MEMORY GARDENS, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville (615) 646-9292. www.harpethhills.com
