On Monday, November 30, 2020 Ardith (Art) Hall at the age of 80 departed his home in Franklin, TN carried away to his eternal home prepared by the Creator of the universe and Redeemer of all mankind, the LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

Art was born in Irwin County, Georgia on July 24, 1940 to Ardith Victor and Carrie Mae Hogan Hall. Graduating from Bass High School in June 1959, he enlisted in the USAF two months later and spent the next 20 years in service to our country both here and abroad.

He retired from active duty in October 1979 and began his civilian career as a Biomedical Equipment repair technician and Director of Plant Operations and Maintenance in two south Georgia hospitals and was subsequently hired by ServiceMaster to perform in the same capacity in hospitals and/or schools where they placed him. Upon leaving ServiceMaster, he fulfilled a long time goal of having his own business and he opened Hall and Co. working together with two of his sons to perform handy-man jobs.

Awaiting him in glory were his parents, three brothers and their spouses, two sisters and their spouses, an infant great-granddaughter and one unborn great-granddaughter. Awaiting a much anticipated reunion are Erlene, his wife of 61 years, and four adult children, Ardith Charles, Melinda (Allen), Jeffrey and Asa Alan (Danijela) and 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, three former daughters-in-law Hillary, Lori and Monique and Renee, mother of Gaibruel and his sister-in-law, Muriel.

Memorial service will be held on December 12, 3:00 p.m. at Community Bible Church, 6005 Edmondson Pike Nashville TN 37211. Memorials may be sent to the church or may we suggest a gift to ‘Wounded Warriors' his favorite charity.
