Age 65, of Nashville, passed away May 9, 2017.

Arlette was a gregarious person that loved people. She could also be described as funny, quick witted, smart, independent and tough. She always did things in her own way and was never scared to do it. She enjoyed cooking, growing a good garden in her back yard and reading a good book. She was truly one of a kind.

Preceded in death by her parents, Lillian Gertrude Tyson Strate and Milton Arthur Strate; daughter, Susan Jordan; brother, Michael Strate; survived by her daughter, Sarah Jordan; sisters, Donna Strate Moran and Marilynn Strate Braude (Bob); numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Cumberland Heights.
