Arthur Albert Guepe, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away at his home May 4, 2018 surrounded by his family after a brief illness. He was born in Charlottesville, VA on December 8, 1941. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Leo Guepe, former Vanderbilt University and University of Virginia head football coach and Viola Frances Schmidt Guepe. He is survived by his sister, Ann Guepe Harris and brother, Richard Guepe (Susan); children, Ann Guepe, Susan Simpson (Steve), Arthur E. Guepe (Annette), and Jennifer Jewell; grandchildren, Stephen Durbin (Lindsey), Morgan Miller, Ryan Miller, Victoria Guepe, Arthur Kyle Guepe, and Derek Jewell.

Arthur was a Civil Engineering graduate of Vanderbilt University '64 and his career spanned more than 50 years. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was very dedicated to spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was known as "the gentleman who is at all the games" and spent the majority of his time being with his family.

Visitation will be on Wednesday May 9th, 2018 from 11:00-1:00 at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Nashville, TN with Funeral Mass to follow.
