Survived by Son, Justin Rust of Kingston Springs, TN, Brother, Roger (Gail) Rust of Lyes, TN, sister, Hilda (Steve) Jones of Kingston Springs, TN, Niece, Kimberley (Mark) Welte of Cookeville, TN, Nephew, Kasey Rust of Nashville, TN, and Great Niece and Nephew, Emily and Luke Welte of Cookeville, TN.

Jessie was employed by Vanderbilt Hospital as a Plumber/Pipefitter for 25+ years. He was a former member of Plumber and Pipe Fitters Local 572. He was a former member of the Kingston Springs Volunteer Fire Department from 1976 to 1984 where he served as an Engineer. Jessie loved the outdoors spending time hunting, fishing, and camping. He will be buried at the Rust Family Cemetery in Kingston Springs, TN
