Mrs. Barbara M. Anderson age 88, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away Monday, May 14, 2018.
She was born January 1, 1930, in Marinette, Wisconsin to the late Henry and Margaret Hanson. Mrs. Anderson was a longtime active member of the Christ Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband Morris P. Anderson. Surviving are son Pete (Peggy) Anderson, daughter Mary (Gene) Ponder, sister Helen (Bud) Eskritt, grandchildren; Merdith (Jake) Whitmire, Taylor (Tad) Ponder, Sydney Ponder, Rhonda (Rob) Allen, and Rebecca (Patrick) Mockmore. Great grandchildren; Ben Allen, Brad Allen, Katherine Cate, and Nathan Mackmore. Nieces; Beth Eskritt, and Kathy Eskritt.
A celebration of Life service will be held Saturday May 19, 2018, eleven o'clock in the morning at the Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor Morgan Gordy officiating. Private interment services will be held at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 o'clock in the morning until the hour of the service at the church.
