Barbara Jean Cooper, age 69 of Cumberland Furnace, went home to be with the lord on Sunday, August 21, 2016.

Barbara was born in Medford, MA on May 16, 1947, daughter to the late Stuart & Doris Peak.

She was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Dominick Carmona.

Survivors include her loving husband of 41 years, James P. Cooper, Jr.; children, Cathleen (Greg) Wallace, Stuart Joseph Carmona & James P. Cooper III; sisters, Martha Peak & Patti Borsos; five grandchildren, Briana Burnson, Danae Wallace, Megan Wallace, Andrew Cooper & Matthew Cooper; great grandson, Aiden Cooper; numerous nieces & nephews; and devoted and beloved pups, Snoopy & prince.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of Barbara's life will be conducted on Thursday, August 24, 2016 at 2:00 pm with an hour visitation prior to service.
