PETERSON, Barbara age 63 of Fairview, TN went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday October 15, 2013. Barbara was born on January 25, 1950 in Nashville, TN to the late Alton and Pauline Mangrum. She was a lifetime resident of Fairview, TN. Barbara overflowed with love; especially for her family. Being "Nana" brought her endless joy & happiness. She was born with a teacher's heart & poured that heart into the lives of her children, grandchildren & hundreds of students. Words can't express how much Barbara is loved & will be missed. Survivors include her loving husband of 43 years, Tommy Peterson, children; Dana (Charlie) Seay, Gregg (Bekah) Peterson, brother; Bill (Debbie) Mangrum, sisters; Joan (Jerry) Tidwell, Janelle (Rick) Palmer, grandchildren; Jacob, Caleb, Katelyn Seay, Baby (Littleman) Peterson, and her nieces and nephews; Aundrea, Neil, Airen, Sarah, Rebecca, Lindsay and Will. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 3 PM thru 8 PM at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of Mrs. Peterson's life will be conducted on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM with visitation from 12:00 until service time.
