SESSLER, BARBARA JEAN, age 80 of Hendersonville passed away on Friday July 6, 2012. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Lynn Sessler and son in law, David Higdon. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, William H. Sessler; daughters, Cindy Bill Scharett, Lori Ann Higdon, Pennie Jo Peter Branden and Andrea Lee Todd Odum; sister , Dolores Pat Sessler; brother, Roger Daeffler; grandchildren, Mark and Ricky Scharett , Michael, Bradley and Katie Higdon, Jonathan and Ariel Branden and Aaron and Ryan Odum; great grandchildren; Peyton Maddux, Avery Scharett and Easton and Presley Higdon. Mrs. Sessler was a devoted wife, partner, mother grandmother, great grandmother, reader and gardner. She was also a member of several Bridge Clubs in the Hendersonville area. Her family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m. on Sunday July 8 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church with a Life Celebration at 2 p.m. with Pastor Lewis Groce , Pastor Paul Frank and Monica Weber officiation. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery on July 21 in Waterloo, New York. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
