Spence, Barbara Davidson, age 72, passed away March 19, 2012. She was born in Clarksville, TN on January 2, 1940. Barbara was an avid Titans fan and was in charge of the Titans Club at Pennington Place. Among many passions she had, she loved classical music. In her younger years she was heavily involved in marching bands and baton. She enjoyed this so much she ran a school of dance and baton for several years. Barbara was a very strong and independent person who had a fierce will to live. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Tommy Turbeville, Debbie Doug Cate, and Kim Mike Miller; grandsons, Jeremy Cate, Chris Jamie Whitworth Turbeville, Dalton Miller, and Ethan Miller; granddaughters, Kristin Greg Hopkins and Kelly Jeff Lemmonds; great-grandchildren, Jaedan Cate and Evie Hopkins; brothers, E.W. Cindy Davidson of Amarillo, TX and Gary Judy Davidson of Winter Haven, FL; Several nieces and nephews survive. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 3p.m. in the Chapel of Long Hollow Baptist Church 3031 Long Hollow Pike. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 2p.m. until the hour of service at the church. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
