Barbara Weil

Barbara Kay (nee Bush) Weil passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021.  She was born on October 12, 1966, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.  Her parents were Robert and Rosemary (nee Graskemper) Bush.  She is survived by her husband, David Allen Weil II, daughter, Roma Dawn Weil, son, Jackson Robert Weil, brother, Gary Bush, sister-in-law, Christie Bush, sister, Roberta (nee Bush) Dean, and nephew, Cory Dean.

Barbara lived a full and rewarding life and was loved by everyone who knew her.  She was particularly devoted to her daughter, Roma, and son, Jackson, and was highly engaged in their lives throughout their exciting academic careers.  She was well known in our neighborhood, Horseshoe Bend, for her regular walks in the morning and often again in the afternoon.  She committed her time and talent to Saint Henry Church, serving on the 50th Anniversary Cookbook Committee, Wedding Guild and Bereavement Committee.  She enjoyed serving ice cream and interacting with the students in the cafeteria at Saint Henry School.  She was born into a large family, her mother having nine (9) siblings, and immensely enjoyed the wonderful gatherings with them for many years.  She will be missed by her family, friends, and the many students and co-workers with whom she came into contact, but the memories will last forever.

Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 – 7:00 PM CST on Friday, November 12, 2021, and the funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00 – 11:00 AM CST on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Saint Henry Church, 6401 Harding Pike, Nashville, TN 37205.
