Our beloved father, husband, brother, grandfather and great grandfather passed away and will truly be missed. He was the only son born to the late Clarence and Bertha Cox of Fairview, Tn.
Preceded in death by his late wife of 50 years Annie Marie Cox, son Tommy Cox and sister Doris Sullivan.
Survived by his wife of 14 years Debbie Cox, son Don Cox (Josephine), daughters Wilma Membrino (Tom), Reba Dobell (late John), and Myra Cox, sisters Nadine Burkeen, and Alda Brown, four step daughters that loved him dearly, Deborah Cross (Jeremy), Sissy Pendleton (John), Angela Bates (Spike), and Misty Chambers (Shannon).
Nine grandchildren, Michelle Negrete (Carlos), Phillip Cox (Amber), Andrew Cox (Courtney), Lauren Murray ( Zack), Kathleen Tomer (Jon), Rachel Dobell, Joe Dobell, Jeremy Brown and Elizabeth Cox, and ten beautiful great gandchildren all knew him as PawPaw.
Baxter loved his family, sports and his garden where he enjoyed getting outside to work for his family. He worked for Werthan Industries for 40 years and retired from France Industrial in Fairview, Tn.
He knew and loved everyone until his last breath. He remembered everyone's birthdays with a special card. He will forever be in our hearts. We will ALWAYS miss him and pray he Rest In Peace.
