Becky Banker Lewis, age 46 passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018.
Born on May 15, 1972, in Nashville, Tennessee to Jim and Lydia Banker, she is the proud mother of Otto Lewis (18) and Phillip Lewis (15). Becky is known for her determination and persistence in helping her children become their best selves. Her love of God, family, and community could be seen in her commitment to helping others and growing in her own personal independence.
Becky was a talented clarinet player and trained vocalist. She traveled with Spirit of America marching band and performed in Hawaii. She was in the marching band at Auburn University where she graduated with a degree in social work.
Becky was active at St. Henry's parish and community. Her greatest achievement was raising her two boys to become strong independent young men. She is loved and admired by her friends and co-workers. She had a gift for making connections with many different people on a deeper level. She spread laughter, love, and kindness. Becky was (and is) an angel.
Becky is survived by her parents, sons, and siblings Louise Larkin (Eric), Anthony Banker (Amanda), and James Banker Jr. (Cindy), former husband Eric Lewis (Lisa), six nieces and three nephews.
Visitation at St. Henry Catholic Church will be Wednesday, October 3 from 5-7 with a rosary at 6:30. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM Thursday, October 4 also at St. Henry Church. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Cemetery.
A special thanks to the many friends and family who have showed their support through gifts, prayers, and visits.
