Bernadine Hughes, age 81 of Nashville, TN went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 28, 2016.

Bernadine was born in Nashville, TN on June 18, 1935, daughter to the late Shelah & Anne Cheek

Survivors include her loving husband, Joseph Hughes; children Ann (Leland) Holder & Christopher Hughes; brother, Frank Joseph Cheek; sister, Geraldine Flatt Givler; grandchildren, Douglas & Kristen Holder & her nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Saint Ann Catholic Church, 5101 Charlotte Ave., Nashville, TN 37209; where a funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:30 am.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society or to Alive Hospice, in Loving memory of Bernadine Hughes.
