Betty Jo Bruce Baker, passed away on Friday, October 3 in Kingston Spring, TN. Born October 14, 1932 in Pegram, TN, she is preceded in death by husband, William (Bill) "Boogier" Baker, Jr., parents Russell Bruce, Sr. and Mayme Crouch Bruce, sisters Elizabeth Castleman(Ed), Jane Griggs (Frank), brother W R "Bill" Bruce, Jr. (Lib).
Betty was a retired Cheatham Co Bus Driver, and very proud of the time she spent driving the bus, calling the students that rode her bus, "My kids". She was a member of the Kingston Springs Church of Christ, and was also very proud to say, she was the longest standing member of the church.
She is survived by daughter, Karen J Baker, Kingston Springs, sons Dale Baker and Glenn Baker, both of Kingston Springs, her beloved grandchildren Daniel Baker, Zayne Baker, both of Kingston Springs, Cory Baker, White Bluff, Devon Baker, CG Baker, both of Kingston Springs, Great grandchildren Cheyenne Baker, Daniel "Brother" Baker, Jr., Kingston Springs, Sebastian, Alexander Joe "Lex" Bates, Kingston Springs, Darien Ladao, Kingston Springs, and sister-in-law Katherine Mathis. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, and her friends. She leaves and empty place in all of our hearts.

Services will be at Harpeth Hills Funeral home. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8 pm. Services will be Tuesday at 11:30 am, Dale Baker and Shawn Bain, officiating.
