Betty Thorn Bateman- Age 79, March 18, 2014. Preceded in death by husbands, Arthur Lee Thorn and Calvin Lee Bateman, Sr.; son at 6 months old ; step-son, Elmer L. Thorn. Survived by children, Gail Bateman Scales, Linda Thorn Johnson (Ben), Debbie Taylor (Eric), Kathy Scaminaci (Anthony), Danny Bateman,Sharlene Cain, Darlene May, Carolyn Viveiros (Paul) and Judy Hutson; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, William B. Zacharias and Roy Zacharias (Pat). A life celebration service will be at 10 am on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
