DITMORE, Betty "Ree" Jones – of Hendersonville went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2012. Ree was a very loving, structured & compassionate woman. She enjoyed playing bridge, traveling, cooking and spending time with her family. She was an avid football fan with her favorite teams being the Tennessee Volunteers and Tennessee Titans. She was a faith based woman that was a member of Hendersonville First United Methodist Church & the Poe Williams Sunday School Class for the past 42 years. She worked for many years as a CPA with a variety of clients. Preceded in death by father, William Jones, Infant sister, Mary Sue Jones. Survived by husband of 48 years, J. M. Ditmore; mother, Jessie Jones; daughter, Ann Brown Tommy; son, Charles Ditmore Kathy; grandchildren, Carolyn Donica Luke, Richard Neal Belinda, Christopher Neal Sheena, Kevin Ditmore, Chase Ditmore, step-grandchildren, Trish Bennett Kenneth, Amanda Wilbur David; 5 great-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Betsey Duke Fred & Jo Logue Dallas. A Life Celebration will be held 3pm Monday at Hendersonville Funeral Home with Bro. Wynn Baston, Bro. Ben Alexander & Bro Glenn Wiggins officiating. Pallbeares will be grandsons and friends. Honorary Pallbeares will be Martha, Donald, Gwen, Glynn, Nora, Barbara, Billy, Janie & Richard.
