Betty Jones

Betty Jane (Anthony) Jones was born to Walter and Nita Anthony on November 6, 1934 in Staunton, Virginia.  She had eight siblings and is survived by her sister Jean Massey and her sister Jo Pinnard.

She served in the Salvation Army from 1955 - 1967 where she taught herself to play the piano and read hymn sheet music.  She loved singing in the choir at church.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her five great-grandchildren.  She loved painting, gardening and watching basketball.

She passed away on April 5, 2021 and is survived by her husband of 65 years, Adrian Jones, four children; Stuart, Carol, Cindy, & Wendell, two grandchildren, Arley (Seth) and Katy (Taylor), and five great-grandchildren, Elliott, Eva, Olivia, Henry, and Molly.

She will be deeply missed.
