Betty F. Shockley age 82 of Hendersonville went to be with her heavenly father Thursday, June 20, 2019. She was born January 28, 1937 in Livingston, Tennessee to the late William Henry and Ila Maxwell Franklin. She is also preceded in death by her son, Lynn "Trey" White III and brother, William M. Franklin.

Betty attended First Baptist Church of Hendersonville and especially loved Sunday school. She worked for over fifty years as a Legal Secretary at Bass, Berry and Sims PLC.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Dan Desmet; nephew, Daniel T. Franklin; nephew, John B. Franklin; numerous cousins, wonderful friends and her beloved Bass, Berry and Sims family.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 24th from 10:30-11:30 a.m. with a life celebration service at 11:30 am at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the garden of the Good Shepherd of Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
