Betty Jean Mangrum

Mrs. Betty Jean Mangrum age 89, of Bon Aqua, TN. passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 7, 2022.

Betty was born in Hickman County to the late Miller Tidwell and Rosa Lee Deal Tidwell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Velton O’Neal Mangrum, son, Mark Mangrum, three brothers, Horace, Lynol and Paul Tidwell, three sisters, Lois Harris, Gerlene Maston, Lora Pendergrass. She loved the Lord and taking care of family and friends. She had the biggest garden of anyone around and everyday at her house was like eating Sunday dinner.

Survivors include her children, Wanda (Larry) Myatt, Bennie (Karen) Mangrum, daughter-in-law, Tonya Mangrum, sisters, Rita Cannon, Nita Sanders, Dolly Tidwell and Jeanette Underhill, grandchildren, Chad Myatt, Alicia Mangrum, Becky Starks and Alex Jenkins, great grandchildren, Anna Welch, Malachi Dawson, Marley Baker, Kellen Starks, Sklyar Starks and Jensen Sinks.

Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 9:30 am until 11:30 am with funeral services to begin at 11:30 am. All services will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN. 37221
