Betty Lou Glenn

Betty Lou Glenn, age 95, born on January 7, 1927, from Hagerstown, Maryland passed away peacefully at home in Franklin, Tennessee on January 6, 2023.

Betty is preceded in death by her beloved life partner & husband Walter Marshall Glenn, her parents Howard and Lula Harbaugh, her brothers and sisters James Calvin Harbaugh, Lillian Lorraine Harbaugh Ritter, Rachel Elizabeth Harbaugh Gray, Howard Bishop Harbaugh, Ellen Eileen Harbaugh Barnes, Allen Albert Harbaugh, Mary Jane Harbaugh Murray & William Leslie Harbaugh, grandson Jerry Gaylon Foster III.

Betty was survived by children Vicki Angela (Doug) Carter, Lark Ellen Foster, Robin Gayle Parks & Howard Gordon Glenn. Betty's 5 grandchildren brought her the most joy in her life she'd always proudly say. And through the grandchildren she was a great grandmother to ten & great great grandmother to one.

A visitation was held Tuesday January 10, 2023 from 12:30 until the private funeral service at 1:30 held at Harpeth Hills funeral home 9090 Highway 100 Nashville, TN 37221.

The active pallbearers were all her grandchildren & their spouses Marshall Dane Smith, Christopher Glenn, Cory Jo Glenn, Heather Jade & Alex Wright, Holly Glenn & Eric Heveron-Smith, great grandsons James Walter & Jonathan Foster Heveron-Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Ed White, Jay Foster, Doug Carter, Dru Smith, Jaden Hojnowski, Jeff Mangrum & Lanice Morrison.

Betty will be celebrated later this year in her hometown of Hagerstown MD at her favorite city park where her family would annually gather for their Harbaugh family reunions.
