Billy Lewis Lankford

Billy L. Lankford of Fairview, Tennessee passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 88. He was born on December 5, 1935 to Murray and Lettie Lankford. He enjoyed road trips with friends, his construction equipment, attending church, mowing grass to the ground and spending time with family. He was of the church of Christ faith. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50+ years, Marjorie Lankford, parents, grandparents, and siblings. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters, Cheryl (Gary) Sanford, LaRue (Glenn) Wey, Christy Lankford; granddaughter Amanda (Wesley) Brackeen; Great grandchildren Bradey and Hannah Brackeen. Pop’s “Special Boys” Gary Moore, Robert Baltz, The Green Brothers, and The Duke Brothers. 

Arrangements are as follows: 

Friday March 8 visitation at Harpeth Hills (9090 Hwy 100 Nashville, Tennessee 

37221) 4pm-8pm. Saturday March 9 at Liberty Hill Church of Christ (7272 Old 

cox pike Fairview, Tennessee). Visitation 10-12 Funeral at noon with burial to follow at 

Jane Jones Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Jane Jones Cemetery (payable at First Bank) and/or Liberty Hill Church of Christ Preschool.
