Brenda Sue Bobo, passed away on February 22, 2025, in Nashville, TN. She was born April 26, 1946. With a personality that was nothing short of vibrant, Brenda was known for her feisty nature and bubbly spirit. She had a unique talent for telling it like it was, always speaking her mind with a blend of honesty and warmth that endeared her to all who knew her.

Brenda was preceded in death by her daughters, Peggy King and Jackie Brown; her son, Gordon Tanksley; and her husband, James Bobo

She is survived by her daughters, Aliya (Caleb) Tanksley and Terri (Adam) Gilliam; her stepson, Richard F. Bobo; as well as her grandchildren, Allen, Staci, Stephanie, Sara, James, Jeff, Johnny, Krysti, and J.R. Brenda is also remembered by her siblings, Cherry Freeze, Wanda Lynnville, and William Tanksley, along with numerous great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and friends.

A passionate gardener with a true green thumb, Brenda loved her flowers and found joy in nurturing her garden. Cooking was another one of her hobbies; she was always willing to have a homecooked meal for her family. 

Brenda was great at bowling. Throughout the years she was in a few leagues and made countless memories with her friends and family. Road trips to the mountains were among her favorite adventures, where she could share moments with her family. Brenda also had a knack for crocheting.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will continue to resonate within the hearts of those who knew her.
