Brenda Kay Cowell

Brenda K. Cowell, age 77, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025. She was born on August 21, 1947, to the late Ray Haney and Lucille Cash Haney in Fayetteville, Tennessee.

Brenda was a wife and mother that dedicated her time to taking care of her family. She worked in office management for several years at the Wilson Real Estate Group in Nashville. She retired at the age of sixty-two. 

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above, and her daughter, Kimberly M. Scott.

Brenda is survived by her husband of almost 39 years, Thomas “Tommy” Cowell; daughter, Deidrea “Dee” Dearman; brother, Darrell (Tammy) Haney; sister, Rhonda Ogburn; grandchildren, Dylan Scott, Grayson Scott, Passion Rumbaugh, Hunter Trom, Kaelinn Trom; great-grandson, Liam Daughtrey; and nieces and nephews, Matt, Brent, Christy, and Aja. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 12:00pm until the hour of the graveside service. The graveside service will begin at 2:00pm with interment to follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
