Brenda Joyce Baxter

Mrs. Brenda Joyce Baxter age 69, of Kingston Springs, TN. passed away on September 8, 2023, at Waters of Cheatham. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Brenda was born on December 13, 1953, to the late James Douglas Andrews, Sr. and Pearlie Jean Hollars. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Shawn Daniel and brother, James Douglas Andrews, Jr. She was a collector of many things, but her favorite treasure was her porcelain dolls. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, who called her Meme. She enjoyed making things for them, such as knitting or sewing them blankets, pillows, curtains, etc. She loved to tell stories of her childhood and her life to family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Charlie Baxter, children, Margaret (Jared) Mangrum, Pearlie Baxter (Jeff McCullough), Amanda (Niyi) Delano and Charlee (Curtis) Jones, grandchildren, Cole, Carson, Issac, Ethan, Kira, Miles, Monroe, William, Malaki, Annaya, Nathaniel, Tremane, Winsday, and Elijah.

Visitation for the Baxter family will begin on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 10:30 am until service time at 1:30 pm. All services to be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN. 37221.
