Brenda "B.J." Smith Mitcham, age 71, of Kingston Springs went to be with her heavenly father Friday, June 21, 2019. She was born November 14, 1947 in Franklin, TN to the late John and Ruth Heithcock Smith.

Brenda owned B.J. Mitcham Real Estate for over 30 years. She was a dedicated bird watcher who loved flowers, painting and politics. She attended St. Bernard High School, Middle Tennessee State University, and a women's college in Memphis. Brenda was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church in Franklin.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Laura Kate Pace (Steve); granddaughter, Riley Pace; and her beloved coonhound, Grover.

A life celebration will be held from 12 - 2, Saturday, June 29th at the Pavilion of Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Arbor Day Foundation at arborday.org.
