Mr. Calvin Horton Kennedy of Fairview, Tennessee passed away December 7, 2015; he was 87 years old.

Mr. Kennedy was preceded in death by his wife Mary Durene Carter Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy was the son of the late George Washington Kennedy and Lois Tidwell Kennedy. He is survived by daughter Regina (Adrian) Shelton of Fairview, TN.; son Calvin Steven Kennedy (Linda) of Fairview, TN. Twin daughters Brenda Kay Kennedy (Teresa) of Nashville and Linda Gay Tidwell (Randall) of Bon Aqua, TN.; grandchildren Shelly Tidwell Patterson, Randy Tidwell (Beth), Amber Shelton Davis (Lee), Ashley Shelton Owen (Derek), Jesse Lee Tidwell, Crystal Kennedy Sullivan (Britt), Mary Kennedy Martin (Bobby); great grandchildren Andrew and Shelby Tidwell, Encara, Kias and Leahness Davis, Ragan Patterson, Ashton and Palmer Owen; best friend, sweet and precious companion Ms. Nell Jones; and brother-in-law Jerry Carter (Carolyn).

Visitation will be Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Life beginning at 1:00 p.m.; all at the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lampley Cemetery following the service.
