Carlos Perez

Carlos Perez, age 40 of Fairview, Tennessee, passed away at home on August 15, 2024. He was surrounded by his loving family, after a 2 year battle with cancer. Carlos was born in November 27, 1983 in Orlando, Florida, to Robert and Gina Perez. 

Carlos was a dedicated husband and partner to Kelly Perez for 17 years. He was a beloved husband, father of 4, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and most importantly a Child of God. He never missed an opportunity to spend time with his children. 

Carlos had a strong work ethic. He was an artist, loved building and remodeling homes. He was a foodie who loved to cook and work in the kitchen.

His hobbies were fishing, cheering for his favorite teams, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Nashville Predators, and making people happy. He had a sarcastic sense of humor and was always smiling. He was loved by everyone that came into his life. He had an adventurous spirit. He always said “Keep your head up and your feet moving forward.” 

Carlos is preceded to heaven by his father, Robert; godmother, Jeanne Wesela; as well as several grandparents 

Carlos is survived by his loving wife Kelly; children, Zachary, Alanna (Asher) Wood, Samantha Hodge, and Madison Hodge; siblings, Amber, Vincent, Alex, and Michael; mother, Gina Perez; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Carlos fought til the last breath to be with his wife and kids. He was courageous, empathetic, and will be deeply missed.
