Carlton Stinson

Carlton Leon Stinson, lovingly know by most as PeePaw, passed away on Wednesday, May 26th, 2021.

Leon was born April 2, 1942, in Baltimore, MD, to Odell and Willard Stinson. He served in the United States Army from 1962-1965. He worked and retired from Ford Glass Plant after 30+ years of service. Leon was preceded in death by his brother Ronny Stinson; and sister Rosa Morton.

He is survived by Phyllis Stinson, his wife of 27 years; and 2 sons and 4 daughters, Scott Stinson (Diane); Kara Stinson Stone (Adam); Michael Stinson; Deborah Watson; Melissa Long Page (Clayton); and Jeri Pastrana.

He is also survived by 2 brothers and 2 sisters, J.C. Stinson (Dianne); Johnny Stinson; Thelma Jones; and Ester Hickman.

In addition, Leon was blessed to share in the love of multiple grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces, nephews, in-laws, out-laws, fishing buddies, card sharks, and friends of all kinds.

Services will be held at Harpeth Hills Memorial Garden, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville TN.

Visitation Tuesday, June 1st, 2021, 4:00 pm until 8pm, Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021 from 11:00 am until 1:00pm. Service 1pm, internment to follow
