Carol Cummings

Carol Lillian Hartman Cummings of Nashville Tennessee passed away on January 29th, 2024 at the age of 91. She was born on August 13th, 1932 to Raymond and Dorothy Hartman of St. Louis, Missouri.   

She enjoyed reading, knitting, listening to Baseball and Tennessee Titans Football on the radio. And fellowship with family and friends, and attending Aspen Grove Christian Church.

She was involved with the American Red Cross where she volunteered at Southern Hills Hospital for 30 years.  She graduated from William Woods University with an Associates of Arts Degree. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Dorothy Hartman, her husband of 19 years Armand F. Cummings, Step children Gary R. Cummings, June E. Bell and Joyce L. Tanton.  Also Great Grandson Michael Sewell.

She leaves behind her Step Daughter Deborah Rochelle. Grandchildren, Tony(Staci) Bell, Andy(Glenda) Bell, Tracy Ball, Eric Tanton, Tiffany(Travis) Briley, Kim(Michael)Lax, Heather(Ken) Wada and Paul Eschbach.She leaves behind many great grandchildren. 

A visitation will be on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 9:00am to 10:45am. A graveside service will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home on Saturday, February 10th at 10:45am with burial to follow. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in her name to William Woods University.
