Carole Parker Thomas

Carole Parker Thomas, age 80, was born on September 2, 1944, in Cortland, NY and died peacefully at sunrise on Sunday, October 20, 2024, in Nashville, TN with her children by her side. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Ronald Thomas, her parents Newton Parker III and Helene Parker Spragg, and sister, Suzanne Parker. She is survived by her four children: Ron (Deborah) Thomas II, Brad (Christianne) Thomas, Leigh Anne (Tom) Schory, and Sheri (Nathan) Herum and her 13 grandchildren: Katherine, Ron III, and William Thomas; Annie, Abby, and Ally Thomas; T.J. and Liz Schory; and Elana, Gregory, Kate, Thomas, and John Herum. She also leaves behind her sister Jane (Jim) Morris, brothers Newton Parker IV, Stephen (Pat) Parker, and 13 nieces and nephews. 

Along with her family, Carole’s greatest priority was her relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her greatest desire was that her family and friends would all come to know the Lord for themselves and have a relationship with Him. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in the Pavilion from 11:30am – 1:30pm. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow.
